Health Boundaries Bite
Las Vegas?
I haven't had a holiday in 5 years and I just received an
email, July 24, 2009, about Las Vegas that made me
want to go! I mean, REALLY want to go!
It reminded me of how I used to most like going to a
casino when there was something to "study" -- I had
decided to check out if "lucky" astrological transits
appeared to make any difference in what kind of slot
machine combinations came up, and... paid out.
One night I was particularly interested because a Venus
Trine promised luck, but not solely to me.
Low and behold a man won $250,000.00 on a Mega
Slot at almost exactly the time of the actual transit. So,
after they'd given him his BIG check, you know, the kind
that looks really good in PR photos, and the hubbub had
died down I went over and talked to him.
It turned out he was a musician in a local Spanish band
that played at one of the more prestigious hotels here in
Santa Fe and he gave me his very artistic business card,
which I can't find at the moment.
I asked him what he was thinking about when he hit. He
said he was surprised I asked and said he was thinking
about his mother and how if he won he would give her
the money she needed for something, I forget what.
I thought about how Venus is the planet associated with
love, so possibly it was most likely that the transit
would be most powerful for someone who was
involved in loving thoughts, particularly at exactly the
time the transit was most exactly in existence.
This is my reproduction of the Las Vegas email:

Okay, so that's the email that made me want to go to Las
Vegas... and, since I can't go I'm Twittering about it, and
quite honestly, that is making me feel really good,
almost as good as if I were planning a holiday.
Here's the link in case you can go.
I want to have fun! I want to
save my home, and I've been
working on that for years, and
I just want to have a bit of
fun. I think it would be good
for my health. (It would be
good for your health to have a
holiday, if you have the extra
money for it. Relaxation is as
essential to good health as a
healthy vitamin B12 level,
and I am pretty sure that
relaxation contributes to
keeping ones B12 levels
good, and high.)
Ah, I should put some horoscope projections on this
page to give an indication of what kind of luck to might
be manifesting in the universe.
(But, before I do that I better see if I can get a ride to the
store for some things I'm out of...
Nope... he's in a class right now...)
