Privy
Pit
The Condominium
Association complained that
the insurance doesn't cover
privy pits, they falsely say that
there's no evidence of the
privy pit, and they suggest
that the problem is something
else.
Isn't that pretty dishonest?
For a decade I used my sewer
cleanouts for regular Roto-
Rooting for the benefit of all
the condos. During the privy
pit problem the Association
put in a new sewer rather than
pay their share of the pit
remediation.
The Association ignored me when I tried to get them to help. After I called the insurance company myself
and complained then the Association paid a bit of attention. BUT, they have never paid one single,
solitary red cent toward the remediation. They said they would, but they never paid anything at all, and
that is the cause of my huge problems.
They charged me $6,000 +/- for their lawyer preparing the settlement offer, etc.
Evidence that it's a privy pit is attached to the structural engineer's report and, the fact is that 10 feet deep excrement and other waste was dug out of the pit, which had clean cut walls as privy pits do.
