Hi, Karen - I didn't get back to you because of my crazy schedule - my apologies. The Clinic staff thought I was an
RN which is part of the confusion. I talked to a different woman from the one you mentioned, who was not in that
day, and
she said that the test results indicated that you do not have tetunus and therefore wouldn't
need any more of the anti-biotic.
You may need to see another doctor, at La Familia probably, as you may have
another medical condition causing the pain and other symptoms. I agree it would be good to schedule an
appointment there. Hope that helps. Please keep me posted.

Hi Alan,
MY feeling is that you are not calling me because Whole Life Clinic told you some things
that without a release were inappropriate to share...

A good thing, however, is that because I felt so confident in you being able to tell them why I needed more
antibiotic,
I slept from the time I talked to you until quite late that afternoon...
If I hadn't talked to you, I think I would have been very worried and scared
and those feelings are very wearing, and I think I would have gotten worse again.
In the past, I got MUCH worse after each of the two times I got better,
and each time I had pushed my self to the limits of my energy...
So this time, instead of pushing myself, I asked for your help
and then I slept.

So, while I wasn't quite as good this morning, meaning that I couldn't finish making my cup of coffee without
my abdominal muscles getting tight and beginning to bend me over, I did let the kitty out before that happened
and significantly, I was trying to cut back on Ibuprofen, so I'd only taken two.
I took the third one after I got back to bed, though, because I think that controlling the pain is important,
mainly because I think that the pain has the effect of scaring me and wearing me out
and that in tuen makes the muscle tightening worse and the pain and fear worse...

so my aim is to keep that downward cycle for getting going.

Thank you for calling Whole Life Clinic about me possibly getting more antibiotic.
I really appreciate it.

when I didn't get the antibiotic
and the end of my toe got sore again,
but because I was feeling better (or at least not worse)
I was able to sit up and soak my foot in Epsom salts a few times yesterday
and today its not sore when the covers rest on it, which is an improvement from a while after the antibiotic ran
out.

Or, maybe Whole Life Clinic
completely destroyed your faith in me....
in which case, all of the above remains true,
but I'm sorry to think you think less of me now.
