What if.... What if your state court wouldn't let you redeem your property the way that it says that you can in your mortgage? What if you called your mortgage company and they told you what amount you needed to send in to reinstate your mortgage, and you did, and they kept the money for ten days then returned it without keeping their word. . . What if an agent where you had your property listed was allowed to redeem it... on the basis of liens that were never adjudicated, that were basically rubbish except that they were used to deprive you of your property. . . What if. . . How would you feel? That's what happened to me! And it destroys any confidence I had in the legal system. It makes me wonder why I scrimped and saved to pay down my mortgage... there was only $85,000 owing on it to include all court costs; the Sotheby's Realtor/real estate agent bid $90,00 and I was not allowed to bid because I didn't know about the sale. On top of which the court returned to the Realtor the extra $5,000. By state law it should have gone to me. So tell me, how would you feel? Would you still trust your court? |
